Bunkhouse Booking Information

The Old Alley Bunkhouse sleeps up to twenty one people. This is divided into four bedrooms which sleep, 8,7,3 and 3. Booking of rooms can be made over the phone, via e-mail, or by post. Phoning us is usually the easiest, full contact details are available here.

The cost is £16.00 per person per night which includes a full English cooked breakfast (Vegetarian option also available). In addition to breakfast we also offer a packed lunch for an additional £5 per person.

Remember to bring a sleeping bag or duvet and a towel. We can provide a duvet at an extra charge of £2.00 and towels at £1.00 each. Most importantly remember your tea and coffee. Again we can provide teabags etc at a small extra charge.

Check in time is usually from around 2pm and we ask that you are checked out before 11am. Both these times are flexible so please ask if you have any special requirements. If you check out and are still about the Forest we are happy to store your belongings until you leave.

A minimum booking of two nights is expected at week-ends and three nights over a bank holiday. If you wish to book the entire bunk house there is a minimum occupancy of 16 people. For group bookings we have a selection of set menus at a discounted price for evening meals or lunches. (These need to be pre-booked)

All major credit cards are accepted. A deposit of 20% of the total cost is required to secure a booking, this can be made over the phone by credit card or through the post by cheque. (Cheques made payable to "The Jovial Colliers Inn").
